Born and raised in Johannesburg, it is easy to characterise Mark du Plooy as quintessentially South African. Outside of work, it is Springboks, braaiing & sunshine, and in work, he is as tenacious as Joost and as slick as Percy Montgomery. But alas, it was not a straight path from the Joburg delivery room to the Tiger Valley braai coals. Mark’s path has taken him via Wimbledon (yes, that one) and Cologne (Germany, not the fragrance).
Mark’s work ethic is as impressive as his skills on the braai stand – always sizzling with efficiency, turning every task into a perfectly grilled masterpiece, and never afraid to take the heat.
