Sourcefit EOR Review

An outsourcing group that has built offshore teams since 2009, with a Cape Town office and an employment service it calls EORganic: a flat $199 a month, recruiting and desks under the same agreement, and a dedicated HR contact. Six countries, not sixty, and a deposit to plan for.

Who Sourcefit suits

You already have your candidate. A flat $199, a start in three to five working days, and an HR team in Cape Town you can phone. The deposit of a month's salary plus $199 lands with your first invoice, so have it ready.

You need someone found. Recruiting is offered alongside the employment, and finding offshore staff is what Sourcefit has done since 2009, including South African teams built from its Cape Town office. Ask for the fee and the search timeline up front, because neither is published.

You already use an EOR in another country. Sourcefit covers six: the Philippines, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Madagascar, Armenia and the United Kingdom. If your other hires sit in one of those, consolidating makes sense. If they do not, it will not replace a broad-coverage provider.

Look elsewhere if your candidate expects medical aid membership and a provident fund arranged for them, or if you need a self-service employee app rather than a client dashboard.

What Sourcefit costs

WHERE THIS FEE SITS IN THE MARKET · published monthly EOR rates, per employee

Published rates on the scale: Sourcefit $199, $299, $399, $459, $599, $699.

Published rates only. Several South African specialists publish nothing and quote after a call. A flat fee and a percentage of salary behave differently as salaries rise: a percentage model sits below $199 on junior salaries and above it on senior ones.

Here is every cost line we could find for one Sourcefit hire in South Africa.

THREE THINGS TO GET IN WRITING FROM SOURCEFIT

  • The deposit's return conditions, timing and currency, and who carries the exchange movement while it is held
  • The employing entity by name and CIPC number, and the CCMA commitment, in the service agreement
  • How UIF, SDL and COIDA appear on your invoice, and who is liable if an EMP201 is filed late

How soon your person starts

IF YOU NEED SOMEONE FOUND

Working with Sourcefit

WHO YOU DEAL WITH

A dedicated HR business partner for your account, backed by an in-country HR team and 24/7 support. The South Africa page names a country manager, and the EOR page lists a South African phone number alongside its US, UK and Philippine lines.Sourcefit's blog refers to HR teams in Johannesburg as well as Cape Town. Only the Cape Town office, in Bellville, is listed on the site.

WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY

Clutch 4.8 out of 5 from 12 reviews, checked 8 October 2026. The reviews cover the wider outsourcing business, mostly in the Philippines. One from November 2025 used the EOR service alongside IT and accounting; one from December 2025 found recruitment slower than expected. We found no South African customer feedback on the EOR service.

WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Sourcefit represents clients at the CCMA as the employer. That matters in South Africa: a dismissal can be referred within 30 days, and an award for an unfair dismissal can reach 12 months' pay, or 24 where the dismissal is automatically unfair. Have the commitment written into the service agreement in those words.

LEAVING

No notice period, exit process or offboarding charge is published. The deposit makes the exit worth planning: agree the repayment trigger and timeline before you sign, and ask what happens to it if you move an employee to your own South African entity.

South African compliance

Sourcefit employs South African staff through its own company, Sourcefit SA (Pty) Ltd, and represents clients at the CCMA as the employer. Neither point is on its website yet, which is why we asked; a Cape Town industry directory lists the company at a city-centre address, and the CIPC registration number is worth having in the agreement. The EOR page explains Philippine statutory benefits in detail and says nothing specific about South African ones: UIF, SDL, COIDA, PAYE, the EMP201 and EMP501 filings, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act do not appear on the site. What the site does publish is a set of security certifications: ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 27701:2019, PCI DSS v4.0.1 and SOC 2 Type 1, with GDPR and POPIA alignment stated. SOC 2 Type 1 tests whether controls are designed appropriately at a point in time, not whether they operated over a period, which is what Type 2 covers. On benefits, medical aid is a cash allowance added to payroll when a client asks for it, and no retirement fund is offered, which is worth stating in your job advert.

Our overall impression

Where Sourcefit stands out

A flat $199 with a Cape Town office, a South African phone number and a dedicated HR contact behind it, and simple terms: no setup fee, no minimum, one employee accepted.

The service list is wide. Recruiting, desks, laptops, immigration and training from the same supplier removes two or three procurement conversations, and the business behind it has been building offshore teams for seventeen years.

Where you should probe

The deposit first. Size it against your headcount plan, not your first hire, and get the repayment terms and currency in writing.

South African detail second. The website explains Philippine law and is silent on South African law, so ask who runs your EMP201 filings and who is liable for a late one, and have the entity, its CIPC number and the CCMA commitment written into the agreement.

Benefits last. If your candidate expects medical aid membership, an allowance is a different offer, and better said before they resign.

Sourcefit FAQs

$199 per employee per month, flat, with no setup fee and no minimum headcount. Contractor management starts at $39 a month. Add the employer's statutory costs, which in South Africa are UIF, SDL and COIDA and run to broadly 2 to 3 per cent of salary, and a refundable deposit of one month's salary plus $199 per employee.

EORganic is the name Sourcefit gives its employer of record service. Sourcefit is the parent business, an outsourcing group founded in 2009 and headquartered in Manila; EORganic is the product you buy if you want it to employ someone on your behalf in one of its six countries.

Yes, Sourcefit SA (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town. Ask for the CIPC registration number and check it before you sign.

Yes, as the legal employer. A CCMA referral has to be made within 30 days of a dismissal and an award can reach 12 months' pay, so have the commitment written into the service agreement in those terms.

Three to five working days from signed contract to first day. Your candidate's notice period runs alongside that and is usually longer, and if Sourcefit is also finding the candidate, the search is a separate stage agreed per role.

Employer of Record SA is an independent comparison service. We are not an EOR and we employ nobody on anyone's behalf.

How we're funded. Some providers pay us a referral fee when you request a quote through this site. Fees never change what we write or how a provider is scored. Read our full disclosure.

Where the facts come from. Sourcefit's own published material, checked on the date at the top of this page, and its written answers to five questions we put to it in September 2026 after it asked to be listed. The answers cover the employing entity, the deposit, setup fee and minimum, the start date, the benefits position and CCMA representation; they are treated as corrections to the published record, as our methodology allows, and they are the basis of the SA labour law and CCMA tick. No commercial arrangement exists between us. Statutory positions on UIF, SDL, COIDA, PAYE and the CCMA come from South African legislation and SARS filing requirements, not from the provider.
